Welcome to Warp It at York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

In August 2026, a new version of Warp It was launched. It is easier and quicker to use with improved search and filter functionality. There are two listings. The first is a supply list of items that are available to claim. The second is a list of wanted items on people's wishlists.

To add an item to the supply list, simply take a photo and upload it. Warp It has an AI function that will examine the photo and write out a description for you. You then double check the description and make sure that all the boxes have been filled in correctly. You will need to add a precise location as the postcode is not enough. Once you have checked everything, click on the 'Publish Listing' at the bottom of the page.

If you are searching for an item and it is not available, you can add it as a wishlist item. On the dropdown menu for Listings, select + Post Wanted, or you can use the dropdown menu under your profile name and select 'My Follows & Wishlist'. You don't have to upload a photo - type out a description instead.

You communicate with other users of Warp It using 'Messages'. The 'Notifications settings' in the dropdown menu under your name allows you to decide what emails you receive.

Please note that we don't have the facility to transport items between sites. Therefore only claim items from your own site, unless you have the means to transport the item yourselves.
